Since I am just getting started I don't really have a favorite yet. I think everything is my favorite right now. I think I bit off more than I could chew trying to grow it all, or at least make a schedule of what I am planting when.

I didn't even get a chance to do my herbs this year due to running late on getting the garden finished. The fence builders took longer than expected. I was thinking of growing them indoors or on my deck (in good weather anyway) just to say I grew some.

What about some chilies for that salsa? :)

Boy, let's see:

Salad greens
Carrots
Tomatoes
Potatoes
Blueberries
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Cucumbers
Radishes
Blackberries (grow wild)

That's almost all I grow. I don't grow it if I don't eat it, so I guess everything I grow is a favorite.

I wondered if anyone would catch that. I don't like much pepper in my salsa so If I need some I might buy one.
Nice Question

I've never tried growing celery, but have always read that it's 'challenging', especially in a hot, dry climate like mine. Luckily, there's a wild plant here that the local folks call 'osha', the leaves of which taste exactly like celery! It grows into a large perrenial bush, so once you've got it established, you've got a lifetime supply. It's also extremely drought and heat tolerent, and allegedly has all sorts of medicinal qualities, which are added bonuses.
