Hi,
I've been hearing that growing plants indoors is not only decorative and soothing, but it also improves air quality as plants absorb various toxins in the air.
But what about growing food plants? Do these toxins not end up in the fruit/leaf? I want to grown vegetables and herbs in my apartment, but it would defeat the point if they are full of toxins from plastics/carpets etc (I've naturally switched to non toxic cleaners, but you can't control all the indoor toxic sources).
Any thoughts or links would be most welcome.
Thanks!
Ruthi
