I would like some recommendations for some good heirloom seed catalogs that some of you like. I am not pleased with the produce I get from the garden centers.

thanks,
Leanne

Well, I just purchase some Heirloom seeds from http://www.non-hybrid-seeds.com just last week. I will be getting them sometime this week. I got the $99 Seed Vault package. I will be planting the spanish and lettuce into my mini-greenhouse. I will let you know how it goes.

Thank you so much, there are so many to choose from I wasn't sure where to start. I trust this site. No random choosing for me:rolleyes:
Would love more if anyone wants to recommend.

http://www.rareseeds.com (Baker Creek) is a great place to get seeds. Try Seeds of Change as well. If you're going to try heirloom seeds get them early because they tend to sell out quickly. For me heirloom is much more important than organic. I grow the plants organically so that is enough for me. Organic seeds tend to me so much more expensive than it needs to be sometimes.

Thanks Patti,:D

Very proud to have your imput. I will look for those. I too am leaning more toward heirloom over orgainic if I have to choose (I would like both if I can find it). Good information.
