Indoor Pollination Question

How do I pollinate my bean and tomato plants I am growing in the house over the winter? I didn't know if it is as simple as brushing the flowers on them or a little more involved.

Not sure about beans off the top of my head, but tomatoes are easy. Shake the plant when the flowers are open and the pollen in the air will do the trick. You could tickle the flowers if you like, but it's not like cucumbers. Good luck!
