In front of my house and in the ally way behind are street lights. Will this affect my plants flowering and fruiting?

that's a very good question! and the answer is...

probably...

plants need to absorb a certain amount of photons in order to mature, ripen fruit, etc. it could cause all that to speed up. By how much? I don't know. Depends on how bright those lights are.

Worst case scenario, it could cause your season to start early, stay late, and be more fruitful...

I'm off to plant bright lights in my backyard! :D

Thank you, Monica. I'm going to try it and see who is affected. I'm sure some plants depend on a number hours of total darkness before fruiting. I'll use transportable pots for my Blueberries and not take a chance. Metta, Tallpine

I agree good question. I think it could, but probably not. Street lights are usually a different kind of light, color temp wise and foot candle wise. I think it should be fine.
Please let us know.
