I love the new YouTube system, I can rate and comment without fighting with fragmented, non-readable letters.

On the composting bin. How do you make sure the worms don't get out? How often do you water it? How do you get the compost out without removing or touching the worms?

I could be too squeamish for this, but I'd like to try. If I could only dump the worms in without touching them....eeeeeeeuuuuuuwwwww

worms go where thr is food and tend to be in the middle of the compost pile. worms will not flee they will multiply. They don't like light so they wont poke out and rin they will go n. Worms help break everything down and leave nutrient worm castings. just dump them in. you don't need totouch them at all. Use red wigglers.

Hi Patty, thanks for the response. So, let me just check...
I just scrape off the castings and the worms stay in the middle retaining occupancy as long as I continue to provide a safe feeding environment for them? harvest castings once per month or so?
