So I bought some rose bushes last year and they were harboring a new pest for me. After a few weeks I noticed these beetles all over my garden. They did the most damage to the rose bush leaves but the bushes survived and were ultimately ok with the damage.
I am concerned that the eggs from these beetles from last season are still in the soil and that I will have a recurrence this year.
if anyone has dealt with these little pests before please let me know how you got rid of them. I have read a little bit and discovered that they are hard to get rid of as the eggs from the adults survive any pesticide use. I plan on picking them off by hand if they come back.
Thanks for your suggestions!
