Making my own seed starter mix

Can anyone tell me how to mix own seedstarter.. I enjoy starting my garden from seeds but need so much seedstarter mix and it gets expensive to buy from the store.

I start my seed in compost with some verimiculate thrown in for good measure. I eyeball it, so no parts to tell you. As for the compost, it's from my pile but you could get it anywhere. Some folks use peat moss but I find it dries out too fast.
