Hi, my name is Thomas. I have been growing vegetables and fruits in my garden for three years now, mostly in raised beds, but now that I have moved to a rented house without a garden plot, I'm growing in containers instead. I have built a new aquaponics system for indoor growing too, and I'm looking forward to finding out just how much such a system can produce. If you collect seeds and would like to exchange some please send me a message. I often have tomato seeds ready to go.

I'm looking forward to seeing you in the forum :)

Thomas

... Please post pictures of your container garden. ...

It's nothing fancy at all but the best I could do this year since me and my family moved to a new region last fall ;-) I'm up north and here are two 'before and after' pictures:

June 2011:

August 2011:
I had to put up a fence to keep the kids near the house because there's an electrical cow fence nearby. Unfortunately the containers ended up on the outside of the kid fence which makes it a bit difficult to take care of the plants:

In the containers I grow American blueberries (3 large clay pots), carrots, chili, mini aubergines, spring onions and lettuce. 3 containers with early potatoes are already gone. (and there's a danish blueberry bush down there somewhere ;-) :

I grow 6 tomato plants and 2 cucumber plants up the south facing wall in 4 self-watering polystyrene boxes:
