As you can tell from my "handle" - I grow roses - lots of them BUT DH and I also grow anything else we can stick in the ground. We are planning a market garden for next year and hoping to start a small farmers market in our little town. Between us we have 8 children, all but my youngest 18 year old out on their own and we have 6 grandchildren; 2 cats, 1 dog; assorted chickens and ducks. We try to grow everything as organically as possible and as frugaly as possible. Frugality has become a passion of ours and we don't feel as if we suffer one bit.
