Inspired by all the lovely pics here, I decided to post the dreary winter day pics I took yesterday. The house is in disrepair ( I moved back here to help Mom get things fixed up), but has great potential! I will get everything fixed as time, money, and energy permit. Spring pics will be prettier!

The apple trees (The blue house is mine).

The garden... you CAN see the veggies, right???!

The broken down compost bin... it is on the repair list!

The view of the backyard from the porch.

You have a nice big area for a garden there. I wish I had that kind of space! Lots of potential there. Good luck.:)

That is a great looking spread. I can't wait to see how you make it work for your needs. Amazing potential!

Thanks, everyone. I see great ptoential in it, too. I have had a raised bed garden out there before (years ago) and if you look carefully, you can still see the outline of the beds. In a month or so I will prune the apple trees, they have been neglected for about 5 years now (the whole time I've been gone).

Can't wait for spring! :)
