Hello,

I am new to Patti Moreno but absolutely love her online shows and this site! I live in northern Minnesota and tonight it is going to be -35 degrees! But her show gave me the idea to start an indoor garden in my sun room ... it's great! I have tomato's, bell peppers, herbs, lettuce, and radishes coming up right now! I will keep re-potting as everything grows up ... hopefully harvest what I can ... and if needed come Spring ... transplant outside and get an early harvest!

I know I am rambling ... but again ... hello!

Nice! Welcome to the boards, and FYI it is -5 degrees here tonight! Not that it compares, it's just shockingly cold.

I just don't think I could handle -35. -5 steals the breath away, I couldn't imagine -35! Luckily, you can hold your hands up to your computer and stay warm while you're reading the forums.

Hi... and welcome! We had a balmy -7* here last night... balmy compared to your temp, any way! I am just south of Lake Erie, so we get some pretty cold temps here, but I don't think we have ever gotten down to -35* here!

Good luck with the sunroom garden!!! Post pics of your progress!

Wow -35 that insane! We had -15 last night. I didn't go outside today until we hit a balmy 1 degree. So much for global warming.

Welcome, Kim

Welcome, Kim
It just now hit 1*... and it is noon! I don't think we are going to make it to today's "forecasted" high of 13*!
