I have been having a hard time finding a source to purchase dwarf fruit trees for my orchard. I have had no luck locally and on-line sources don't quite fit the bill.
Where does everyone find their dwarf (or semi-dwarf) trees? I am looking forward to my mini-orchard!

Not sure where to order but if you do so online, check them out first. Here is a link for one such nursery:

I have been doing a lot of research and found out that these trees grow in columns and have a decent tasting fruit with a large fruit set in comparison to the size of tree. The place I will order from also has a 100% satisfaction on Garden Watchdog.

Dwarf trees can be hard to find. I bareroot mail order now from Stark Brothers mainly. They have an awesome catalog, you should request one just for the entertainment value alone. The trees I ordered from them have done excellent for me. My peaches were great.

+1 for selection--I'm intensely interested in the StarkSpur varieties they have. How have those worked out for you?

I love Fedco trees. Their catalog is so entertaining (and honest!). They have dwarfs and heirlooms. I just love them.

Thanks for all the links! I did find some semi-dwarf apple and peach trees at Lowe's reasonably priced, so I started with those.
I have never grown fruit trees and love the thought of all that yummy goodness growing in my own yard!
