    Default Spinning

I finally found a local place where I can learn to spin. I want to go this route so I can work with a variety of spinning wheels and looms to find what I like the best. It is a huge investment of money for this equipment so I want something I am comfortable using.

I've got a bunch of angora wool and the lady who will teach me raises Shetland sheep. Cool!

Welcome to the wonderful world of spinning! I have an Ashford Traditional Spinning wheel which has served me well. One of my favorite parts of spinning is trying out different types of fiber and seeing my results. I just got some yarn back from a mini mill. I also had roving made from my fiber so I have plenty to spin with this winter.
