Default quick and easy and cheap bed sets

I mix and match designer flat sheets to make sets. I make one big block and it is done in a jiffy. As I get busier, my blocks get bigger, but it's quick and easy to redo a bed you just need a main material than use another color or two of another sheet. Sheets save a lot more money than buying by the yard. You can find nice sheets at discount places like outlets and thrift shops.
I get my new sheets about 6 bucks and used for less.

Default baby quilts same treatment main material and sheets for other colors

My rule is not to spend more than a few hours on quilt due to my time constraints. Not super skilled workmanship but always a nice gift.

This one has Laurel Birch horse material and the trim is high count cotton sheets less expensive and feel even better than material at the yardage store.

    This one is all sheets

This one the purple and backing is a sheet

This one is all sheets. A white sheet that my family and I painted on then I sewed together.

Wow! I've never thought of making my own quilts and duvets pillows and all sorts! You just gave me a great idea! But we have millions of blankets and those in our house already

Just beautiful work! I love to quilt and I was lucky enough to get to make my very first one with my grandmother. Love the quilts, and great idea on keeping it simple.

My daughter and I are going to be making her a quilt this school year. I have half the squares cut and plan on using a sheet for the backing. I really like the ones posted.
