How to Make a Cilantro Martini
This is a deliciously cool, refreshing drink that starts in the garden. Or at least it should.
What you'll need:
- Vodka
- Gin
- Simple Syrup (a mixture of equal water and sugar boiled)
- Fresh Cilantro (from your garden, hopefully)
- Lime (from your garden, hopefully)
- Ginger (from your garden, hopefully)
- Ice
What to do with the ingredients:
- Squeeze the juice of one lime and set it aside
- Crush the ice in blender and add to the bottom of your martini shaker
- Grate about 1 tsp of fresh ginger and add to the shaker
- Take a handful of cilantro and chop it up, but not too finely
- Add the cilantro to shaker
- Add 1/2 oz of simple syrup to the mixture
- Pour in 2 oz of vodka
- Add another 1/2 oz of gin
- Add the fresh lime juice that you sat aside
- Shake it all up!
When you see the outside of the shaker icing up, it's ready.
Add to a gorgeous martini glass and sip. It's gonna be a good day!
